It has been a long time since I have posted anything on my blog. Sorry to say that life's ups and downs have gotten in the way. I have been learning many new things in the Microsoft arena and have now started to learn new things in development for the new software that my employer purchased called Microsoft Dymanics AX 2009. What a challenge that has been! I don't think it is so much the softwares problem as much as it is trying to fit our business to work within the software. I have found it very interesting because I have enjoyed the challenge of the new work that I am doing. I can't say the same for everyone that is learning the new system though.
I am always up for learning new things even though it scares me, but I am being encouraged by my son to learn something new and he has even volunteered to take an online class along with me so that he can help explain things when I get stumped
So here we go...... I am starting a new online class called Machine Learning. Not sure what it is all about but it was something that was suggested by my boss last fall. I didn't take the class but a few of my coworkers signed up for the class and have now completed it.
Wish me luck! I will check back and report on my progress as I struggle with the idea of doing mathematical equations after putting that kind of stuff behind me over 30 years ago when I graduated from high school.
